Our Business plan costs ₹2,000 a year. That is unlimited GST invoices, stock, a credit book with payment reminders, barcode billing and three users, with installation, data import and staff training included. This post explains exactly what you get for that money, what you do not, and why we can charge it.
We would rather you read this before a demo than after. Cheap software that turns out to be missing the one thing your counter needs is not cheap at all.
Why the price is this low
Most billing software costs more for reasons that have nothing to do with the software. A sales team on commission, a call centre in another city, advertising, and a reseller who takes a cut before the product reaches your shop. All of that is built into the price you pay each year.
We are a small team in Haridwar. The people who write the software also install it and answer the support phone, so there is no layer in between to pay for. That is the whole reason. It is not a trial price that jumps at renewal, and it is not a stripped-down version with the useful parts sold back to you as add-ons.
What is included for ₹2,000 a year
Everything below is part of the Business plan. None of it is charged separately.
At the billing counter
- Unlimited GST and non-GST invoices, plus estimates, delivery challans and credit notes.
- Barcode billing. Print your own labels and scan at the counter, or search by typing two letters of the item name.
- Thermal and A4 printing. Both 2 inch and 3 inch thermal printers work, with your logo on the bill.
- Retail and wholesale price lists on the same item, so the counter picks the right rate for the customer.
- Offline billing. If the internet drops, bills still print. Everything syncs when the connection comes back.
Behind the counter
- Live stock with low-stock alerts, so you reorder before the shelf is empty.
- Credit book with party-wise outstanding and payment reminders sent over WhatsApp.
- Purchase entry and supplier ledger, so you know what you owe as well as what you are owed.
- GST reports your accountant can file from, including GSTR-1 and 3B summaries.
- Three users, each with only the screens you allow them to see.
Getting it running
- Setup before installation. We load your item list, rates and tax slabs first, so you are not starting from an empty screen.
- Data import from Excel or Tally, done by us.
- Installation and training. In person if you are in one of the 55 towns we visit, and online anywhere else in India.
- Phone and WhatsApp support, Monday to Saturday, on priority.
What is not included
The Business plan is built for a single shop. A few things sit in the Enterprise plan instead, and it is better you hear that from us now:
- More than three users. If you run four or more counters at once, Enterprise has no user limit.
- Multiple branches with separate stock and branch-wise reporting.
- API access and Tally export. Business exports to Excel and PDF, which covers most accountants.
- Custom reports and custom invoice branding beyond adding your logo and details.
If none of those apply to you, the Business plan is the whole product. You can see the full comparison on the pricing page.
What ₹2,000 a year actually works out to
| Price per year | ₹2,000 |
|---|---|
| GST at 18% | ₹360 |
| Total for the year | ₹2,360 |
| Per month, before GST | about ₹167 |
| Per day, before GST | under ₹6 |
A GST-registered business can claim the ₹360 back as input credit, because you get a proper tax invoice for the subscription.
Put another way: if the software saves your counter ten minutes a day, or stops one customer from walking out of a queue each week, it has paid for itself. A single credit payment that comes in because a reminder went out on time can cover the whole year.
Hidden costs to check with any billing software
Whoever you buy from, ask about these before you pay. They are where a low headline price usually turns into a high real one.
- Installation and setup fees. Some vendors charge separately to install, and again to configure your items.
- Data entry. If you have to type in two thousand items yourself, that is days of staff time. Ask who does it.
- Per-user charges. A plan that looks cheap for one user can double when you add a second counter.
- Renewal price. Ask what year two costs, in writing. An introductory discount that disappears is common.
- Annual maintenance. One-time licences often come with a yearly AMC that is easy to miss in the quote.
- GST updates. When a rule or return format changes, is the update free or a paid upgrade?
- Getting your data out. If you leave, can you export everything in a format you can open elsewhere?
For the record, our answers are: no installation fee, we do the data import, three users included, renewal at the same price, no AMC, GST updates free, and full export any time.
Who this plan suits, and who it does not
It is a good fit if you run one shop with up to three counters, raise more than 50 bills a month, sell on credit to regular customers, and want GST reports without re-entering anything. Kirana and general stores, medical stores, hardware shops, garment shops and small distributors are the kind of business it is built for.
It is not the right fit if you need several branches reporting into one account, more than three people billing at the same time, or a direct Tally integration. Look at Enterprise instead. And if you raise only a handful of bills a month, start on the free Starter plan and move up only when you hit its limit.
How to get started
- Book a free demo. It takes about twenty minutes, and we use your own items and rates.
- Send us your item list, in whatever shape it is in. Excel, Tally, a photo of a register page.
- We configure the software, then install it at your shop or online, and train your staff.
- You pay once you have decided to keep it.
